I wasn't expecting us to sign any world beaters but even a couple of decent loan signings just to give the squad some depth was surely a necessity?

Our first 11 against Stoke was good but we struggled last Saturday. You only had to look at the bench to see there was no one really to make an impact apart from Riga.
