Bolton have stepped up their interest in Hannover 96 winger Szabolcs Huszti - the golden boy of Hungarian football.

 

Gary Megson is on the look-out for a wide left player who can deliver quality crosses and Huszti, 25, fits the bill.

 

The Trotters boss sent scout Alan Harper to watch him inspire Hungary to a 2-0 win over Northern Ireland on Wednesday.

 

Huszti, who moved to the Bundesliga from French side Metz for ?210,000 two years ago, laid on his country's opening goal at Windsor Park with a lightning burst down the right.

 

Huszti has previously been linked with a move to Real Madrid while Sevilla, Celtic and Everton are also said to be interested.
