I didn't lay Aegean Prince. I don't lay anything over the 10.0 to 10.5 mark. Laying at long odds is the quickest way to poor house and I'll explain why: (seeing as laying is how I make my living: the bets I put on here are just so I've got something to cheer home!) Betfair Sp odds are always considerably higher than Bookie Sp: on average 5-10% at the lower end of the market, but it gets ridiculous at higher odds. Aegean Prince was 14/1 with the bookies ie it should win once in 15 races. However the bookies adjust the book to guarantee a profit (fair enough IMO), si it was probably a 12/1 shot at worst, maybe 10/1. Let's assume it's a 12/1 shot, so it'll win once in 13 attempts on average. So, each time it loses you make 1 point, less commission at 5%, leaves you with 0.95pts 12 losses at 0.95pts earns you 11.4pts. But its betfair SP price tonight was 17.57, which would have cost you 16.57 pts. So, over the 13 races where you should just about break even, you end up 5.17pts down. So, don't be laying long shots. Hope I haven't bored too many of you, I'm offto lie down in a darkened room: this is the longest post I've written on here without swearing, slagging someone off, taking the piss or being sarcastic. I don't feel well!

I know Forpadydeplasterer is a class horse, but if Tatenen runs to potential, it could be a cracker. a poor 5th: I didn't fancy the fav, but picked the wrong challenger! Happy enough today, my 2 main picks won. When the Irish lads say the money's down, the horse invariably wins. Bent bastards.

Yeah its good I have started getting into laying horses a bit more, usually only lay one or two per day but ive started to do a few more recently. I wouldnt mind a look when you get time thanks.

Aye twas lad, been busy all day today so I'm not mithered over weekend, so not even looked at the nags. A decent week though, we've all passed a few winners on to each other, I'm up 5 ton+ since monday Everyone and keep up the good work!!!
