Guest Biff Posted March 14, 2010 Posted March 14, 2010 It is. I don't know what I'm going to do to fill all that time up before kick-off. Button up your flies maybe.
desperado Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Fcuk doing anything to host them dirty corporate filthy bastards, regardless of how much money it brings in. This will be the first floodlit game I have taken my eldest too. The Fanzone, while not a bedrock of hard core passionate support, is great to take the kids and is part of the experience for them. Means we can have a few drinks before game as well. It would be a shame if we pass it over to them tvvats. Confirmed. Shame.
notlob the tiny Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 Announced in fanzone on saturday that Fanzone not on for filth game as corporate function booked. No guessing that they have sold out to the tossers again. Shows that the club still have a bit to go in the supporter relationship stakes.
Guest Frandsen08 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 i dont think i can remember us having a late kick off against united on a saturday i thought they tried to do it as early as possible so it limits the drinking time which in theory limits the trouble?
tarian1979 Posted March 15, 2010 Posted March 15, 2010 i dont think i can remember us having a late kick off against united on a saturday i thought they tried to do it as early as possible so it limits the drinking time which in theory limits the trouble? This is exactly what i thought. They always do something similar with liverpool v everton games nowadays as their was major trouble in city centre one year after a late kick off. May of been when mcallister scored the winner - think that may of been an easter bank holiday match and they played it in the evening - everyone p issed. Trouble after. Maybe the police dont categorise this fixture as such a risk anymore? I know they certainly wouldnt allow man city to play man utd at 5.30 on a saturday.
