January 4, 201115 yr I know the answer can be as long as a piece of string but if any of you could be as kind to give me a ball park figure for... A smart looking website with about 10-15 different pages.... And then how much more would it cost to put a feature on where people can buy things straight off the website. And could i manage it and add new things to sell myself?
January 4, 201115 yr in all honesty, from your description you could pay owt from say ?1000-?10000 and then some depends on budget and how serious you are about it making money half the cost these days is building it, the other is marketing it (online) this will probably be a good starting point for you: http://www.magentocommerce.com/ that's a free CMS for ecommerce also, taking payments - if you can go with PayPal do so - far easier than setting up a merchant account to take credit card payments (that too is a whole nother can of worms) owt else, just ask
January 4, 201115 yr I know this guy and he builds good sites but don't know how much he charges. www.elliff.com
January 4, 201115 yr I know this guy and he builds good sites but don't know how much he charges. www.elliff.com I design websites, it isn't hard and anyone with a bit of computer nous could make a fairly professional looking site and wouldn't charge anything like the cash that Zico was quoting but it is the marketing that's the hard bit.
January 5, 201115 yr You could get a spotty 15 year old to build you that kind of spec for about ?25. You can get shared SSL servers now which takes the price out of dedicated secure trading online or ofcourse just add the 'Buy It Now' button through PayPal, if that is feasible.
