Statto lives. im liking that stat what are the goals against. could this be the base of the misconception of entertaining football. the fact that there are actually goals involved these days? When you consider that 15 of those goals (28.8%) were scored in November where we recorded wins against Spurs (4 goals for) Wolves (3) and Newcastle (5) and draws against Everton (1) and blackpool (2) either 52 isn't that good or November was way beyond our normal capabilities.
May 25, 201115 yr On the down side we only managed 18 pts in the second half of the season which is relegation form & only on two occasions in the prem have we managed to gather less points in a half season ie Megsons first when he took over with 5 points & 10 games played (17 pts he did well!) & 2009-2010 when Megson did'nt do so well(18pts) We managed a measly 11 pts in the first half season at Burnden but still matched 18pts in the second half of the season even though we were rank bad & finished bottom.
