If you remember the extent of corporate boxes at highfield was a rickety stack of portacabins in the corner. That and they were bidding to build the new national stadium. I quite liked highfield and the potato wedges in the boxes were belting. You must have been in the cheap boxes. About 7 of us got an invite to the cup match in a box in the main stand. Nice meal and a fully stocked bar wich we took full advantage of. After the match, someone knocked on the door to the box and asked if the person, fast asleep in the corridor outside, belonged to us. They did. We were told later that it was the highest ever bar bill for the box. We were never invited back.
December 6, 201213 yr i thought the council owned the whole thing its what the man in the pub/my taxi driver told me and when have they ever been wrong not sure if he had a season ticket at huddersfield though Forget the ins and outs, but was told the story by a friend of a Cov fan and basically they're royally fucked.
