Spent loads of money on the tow paths last year and loads of runners and cyclists are using it. Nowt better than a pit stop at a canal side pub.

Boothstown to Astley and back with the dog is a sound walk, managed to get a couple of pubs taken in, did it last year with my sons pets.

We used to drive to Foulridge then run the towpath of the Leeds/Liverpool though Barrowford and Greenberfield locks when training for the GNR. Nice part of the world. Hopefully we will be doing this again come summer
