Judge Fudge Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Just making an appeal on behalf of a good mate of mine. Briefly, him and his wife lost their son last year to a genetic illness. This Saturday they are holding a fundraising event at Horwich RMI with all money raised going to North West Pediatric Ambulance Service. Tickets are on sale for the night with plenty of artists on, food etc but I'm just seeing if any of you good folk on here have or know anyone that could donate stuff for the raffle and auction that are taking place. Some of you from that neck of the woods will probably know him as he's a fellow Wanderer. His contact details are on the link below if anyone wants to contact him. Cheers http://www.theboltonnews.co.uk/news/10405509.Tragic_baby_died_because_he_could_not_digest_milk/?ref=rss http://www.nwts.nhs.uk/ Quote
Ghana White Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Can't make it to this myself but if people are considering it the pediatric north west ambulance service is an incredible cause, I'd be surprised if many days go by in the week when they don't save a child's life Quote
bwfczoe Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 I went to this fundraiser as my niece has the same genetic condition as does her school friend, do we know how much was raised on the night? Whilst we are on the subject I am in the process of helping to organise a charity do for www.galactosaemia.org and was wondering if any of my fellow wandererswayers had any items they could possibly donate. The Fun Day will be held at Kearsley Cricket Club on 25th August, thanks in advance and sorry for hijacking Quote

Think I've got a signed Wanderers top somewhere in attic you can have. Quote
