Blood Donation Session - November 10Th

Hello,

We have a blood donation session in the Platinum Suite on Monday November 10th, taking place from 1.15pm to 3.30pm and from 5.15pm to 7.30pm.

Blood stocks often drop at this time of year due to seasonal illnesses, so whether you are a first time donor or it's your fourteenth or fifty-first donation we'd love to see you there!

For more information about being a blood donor please visit www.blood.co.uk or call us on 0300 123 23 23.

Please use car park A if you are driving to the donation session.

Tenuous link alert....

...........feel as good inside as Liam Feeney would have done last night - give blood; save lives! Each donation could save or improve up to three lives.

Thank you,

NHS Blood & Transplant

Hi Boltondiver,

You're quite right, guilty as charged!

Tell us the next time your at the Victoria Halls and I'll have a bat, not been able to donate for a few years due to Ebola and really bad AIDS. Do you still give tea n biscuits ??

Will they take my gout riddled alcoholic sludge?

Asking for a friend, if someone took class As on the odd occasion would that be a problem?

All health enquiries are best resolved by looking at the Health & Travel section of www.blood.co.uk, or by calling us on 0300 123 23 23.

Thank you to anyone that reads this forum that came along to donate on Monday; we collected 137 donations which can go towards saving or improving over 400 lives.

Our next donation session at the ground is on Monday of next week (November 17), with another donation session planned for Wednesday December 10. For more information, or to book an appointment to donate, please call or go online.

I used to give blood regularly myself but after the BSE scare I couldn't any more as I have had a transfusion myself before they tested for it. Madness.
