Interesting little fact from my mate a Derby fan.

 

Birmingham equalised in the 7th minute of stoppage time at Derby on Saturday (they had held up 3 minutes).

 

It was the same referee that took charge of our game against Birmingham when they scored late in stoppage time to stay up.

 

Coincidence or what..............................

"What" - as in not really a coincidence or anything, just a ref who adds the proper time on! Very few seem to do.

The time displayed by the 4th official is the minimum they add on, not necessarily the total time left to play.

Only 1 minute was added during the Liverpool Blackburn game yesterday.

 

Never seen as little as that ever.

there was a penalty within the injury time so id imagine that would of taken a couple of minutes.

 

Id love to of seen that brum end when they equalised.

 

I know they arent really playing for much and was nowhere near as vital as their equaliser agains us last season, but i bet they went mental still!!

 8 mins in the 1st half so TV bosses must have had a word to do a short 2nd half so as not to delay what ever rubbish BT followed it with.

I thunked the same too. see it all the time at HT but never at FT.

Agreed - at least sending someone down would have provided a bit of entertainment in what was a dull season and we couldn't even manage that !!
