  1. "The True Marple White" Laughable! Who's better?
  2. Wheater our best defender by a mile. Dervite had a good spell then rough but great yesterday. Mills will be on a lot of money I'd imagine
  3. I'm finally after selling my big collection of football programmes as we have run out of room at home and have no storage space. I have 200-300 I'd imagine. Does anyone know how much I should be looking to sell them for?
  4. He's a buy and sell. Slightly believable but doubt it.
  5. Didn't Southampton pay 8 million for long?
  6. Didn't marcos alonso going not reach us anything? 3 minimum for me
  7. Must and unlikely Chung Yong (his form says everything about this man. Wasn't at his best on Saturday but a great player) Bogdan (take Marshall out of this league who was amazing last season don't think theres a better gk in this league) Must and likely Vela (young lad who loves the club. Versatile makes him a lot more important now too) Danns (not a massive fan of Danns myself don't know why but with injury prone players like Mavies we need to keep hold of our better centre midfielders) At the right price Mills (again a bit like Danns I can't like this man. He's clumsy and cost us quite a few goals this season but he is very good in the air. Nowhere near as good as Wheater. I think his performance at Norwich was the final straw for me. Would need to take a huge drop as he was a Coyle signing I automatically think he would be on a fortune) Pratley (good player in this division without being amazing. mainly the sheer amount of ground he covers on the pitch. Would need to take a huge drop) Lonergan (good number 2 but as he was a Coyle signing I automatically think he would be a big earner) Time to go Beckford (good riddance) Tierney (injuries make him a must go. looked to get better each game. in a position we don't have a player when we signed him do we really see a man who had been out for such a lengthy period with a ACL a good option given our luck with injuries)
  8. Never seen a pitch as compact as that. It was so difficult to move around as we was pressed so much. Just why didn't we go to cross the ball more often when we had room to on the wings? Why doesn't Feeney pick his head up when running with the ball? A blip was Saturday but under Douglas we would of really fell after the goal. COYWM
  9. I don't know who I want. Bad points to all of them. Anyone could get that Newcastle team promoted like Hughton did and he spent a lot of money at Norwich and did a terrible job. Mowbray did a terrible job at boro. It's tricky. I guess I'd like someone and Jimmy. Get some of our neglected kids back in contention
  10. I wouldn't do cartwheels over Mowbray but then again thinking that he turned Boro round from a similar position is probably a steady pair of hands, is available probably means he ticks some boxes as far as Gartside is concerned. Probably would work with Jimmy Phillips too. Which I suspect might be another condition for any new manager rather than a lot of backroom appointments. I can add that after speaking to a member of staff Jimmy isn't in contention for anything. 4 he club haven't spoke to him or anyone since the sacking even to say he wasn't getting the temporary job. Very poor feeling around the set up about that
  11. I accept gartside may have been a part of our most successful era but when we hear a 'fan' who is taking so much out of the club a season and reminding us how much debt we are in it does anger me. We will never ever know what really happened when big Sam left but with his performance he never seemed to be backed sufficiently. People say forget them days they have gone but if we replaced Sam with a good enough manager I don't think we'd be here

  13. All I know is that Jimmy is nowhere near any consideration for the post. Wasn't even asked to be caretaker and the club haven't spoke to him or anyone in the academy. Don't want Keith hill he worked in a similar position with Barnsley and lost his job. Think he'd really struggle.
