Me and the missus are flying out on the Sunday, spending the week in Vilamoura. We've got a hotel booked in Braga for the Thurs night, and are arranging for a hire car for weds, thurs fri, driving up on the thurs, and returning down the coast on teh Friday. Only problem is that its a 400 mile ish drive from the algarve to Braga Anyhoo ... If anyones on teh South coast and wants to share driving/costs, let us know

Courtesy of Teamtalk : Riza Calimbay has stepped down as coach of Turkish giants Besiktas, according to reports in Turkey. Besiktas fell 13 points behind leaders Galatasaray on Sunday after they were held to a goalless draw at home by Kayserispor in the ninth round of matches. And on Monday morning Calimbay met with club president Yildirim Demiroren and told him, "let me resign and open up the possibilities for you." The Besiktas board then met where it was decided to accept the resignation. The president is expected to make an announcement soon. Besiktas play host to Bolton Wanderers in the opening match of the Uefa Cup group stage on Thursday.
