e-mailed my hotel in Braga they said 30 - 40 Euros max. The PDF at the top of this page shows distance as 7km. The hotel told me it was 20km.

They've had my money and now they're offering it back or the hotel near Braga.

I booked Hotel de Guimaraes with Hotelopia 6th Oct, I have received a phone call today telling me the hotel is over booked and they are cancelling reservations. Apparently all hotels in Guimaraes are the same and your booking confirmation may just mean you are on the priority list for cancellations. The alternative I have been offered is Hotel Falperra near Braga. Hotelopia say forget Guimaraes I now have no chance.
