If we make enough fuss and people get behind the idea i'm certain that things can be changed, along the lines of some of the more realistic suggestions already made. My mine grip is the souless feel of a home game. Am convinced that a singing section can be sorted. Just not near the away fans, can't see the club agreeing to that. But other than that how can the club not agree to something that would benefit the club.

But we can do something about the atmosphere. We can get something sorted so that the cunts in orange aren't such hitlers. But it means a bit of effort on everyones part, need to get things moving and get the big wigs at the Reebok to take notice.

Think everyone has a point. But what is needed is to Fat Gartsides eyes and show him that the fans aren't happy. Lets email them all from the top to the bottom. I agree the buzz has gone (came back for the UEFA). I think the reason is that we are no longer the underdogs, backs to the wall sort of thing. Being a wanderers fan was about us being not the best but scrapping. Little Bolton etc. But now were a top 10 club (even top 6 poss) that spirit has gone, we now expect to go and win home and away. As compared to going to the match to see the whites, if we win great but we didn't expect it week in week out. Its the same with the away games now, it seems to be less about the trip, beer, laugh and all about the 3 points/performance. Was a time when going away was the best bit of being a white. Its shite at many away games now.

If Pompey go down, which i hope they don't. I'd fancy us going in for that lad Lua Lua up front. I know he's only a short arse but he is like shit off a stick. Plus he can find the back of a net. Me thinks we could play him out wide al la diouf/stelios or up front, god forbid it if we decided to play 2 up front. Another one that springs to mind is Gera from WBA. He looks good each time i see him, although that is only about 6 times. Could be some good players on the cheap at these relegated clubs.

I think we've got a very cautious chairman which means we can rule out signing anyone for a big fee. But given the chance i think big sam would do well. On the whole the PL is full of badly run clubs, with a v few expections. Charlton as you already said, Manure, Arsenal......other than that i can't think of anymore.

As mentioned on the stop the rot thread, Johann Smith to looks like a tasty prospect. Just wondered if anyone had seen much of him recently in the reserves. The fella is fast as fcuk (ex sprinter) and appears decent on the ball....Other than that i know nowt about him

I'll throw my opinion into the mix Play Campo sitting in front of back 4 Diouf & Stelios out wide Nobby and Jay Jay in the centre Start working our bollocks off...again (al la Home game against Arsenal)!!! Use the pace of diouf out left, with Stelios sneaking in at the back post. I really like the ugly fucker Faye but he is shite with the football at his feet.

Would be a good signing, we've been heavily linked with him in the past. He can play both at Left Back and more forward. Is pacey, and IMO is decent on the ball. If we get him i'd be a happy chappy. Need a similar fella to play at right back too!
