McCarthy decided to play a really attackng team with SEb and Fletcher up front and Doyle and Jarvis out wide. Our midfield was overrun by the Albions 3 central midfilders. We got mullered in the first half and by some miracle Fletcher made it 1-1 just before half time. Everyone thought we would change the set up at half time and match up their three in CM but we did not. It was an unbelievably bad decision by McCarhy.

This is not actually true. Wolves went through the interview process and offered the job to Curbishley who verbally accepted the job then he changed his mind and left Wolves high and dry. This was not on a six month basis but on a longer term basis. Curbishley thought it over and gave his reason that he had been told that if relegated he would have to sell players before bring in new ones. Still a shambles but not for the reasons you give. We were truly shocking before McCarthy was sacked and already on a downward spiral. McCarthy fell out with Morgan. When we played Liverpool Morgan had invited a load of his scouse mates to the match and and a very social evening and after a poor Wolves performance Morgan decided the best cause of action was to go into the dressing after the match a give the players and manager the benefit of his views. This was a cretinous act and McCarthy told Morgan what he thought about it. Next home match we lost 5-1 to the Albion and he was gone.

Good to see a few old friends will be making the trip and I look forward to seeing you. To all who travel hope you have a safe journey and a good day out. On the form front we have been playing well recently without getting the results we have deserved. It was a gut wrencher losing in injury time at Old Trafford and we pretty much matched Arsenal in the week, we conceded a goal in the first minute and then in injury time when we had thrown everyone forward to get the equaliser, there goalkeeper got MoTM sats it all. We beat City match before that in the best performance by a Wolves side for a long while. I have ben impressed by your form when I have caught you this season, we are both trying to play a bit more foootball this season so who knows it may even be a decent game. Jarvis has been outstanding for us this season as have Christophe Berra, Kevin Foley and Karl Henry, Milijas has been really good in the last few games and looks like he has come to terms with the PL. Looking forward to seeing a few of you.

We had Clattenberg last night, he was an absolute disgrace. Have not heard what Davies said but Clattenberg is a prize noddy.

Don't go there boys, we played the most boring football in the history of football. The bloke next to me used to sleep through the second half of most games, he was the sensible one I thought of taking a pillar myself. His signings were absolutely shocking and I mean absolutely shocking not just bad.

We played and beat Liverpool in one of those afternoon matches in the LC QF. Had a gate of about 35,000, I think most of the schools in the area were empty.

Must admit I was at the match as well and don't remember too much trouble with the opposing supporters although I believe they had to open up ther emergency exit and bring Uriah Rennies car onto the pitch and smuggle him out the back way. You would have to be a complete numpty to fight they anyway it is all under heavy CCTV Surveillance.
