I think you're wrong, I used to go to Pembroke Halls (what that had to do with Burnden I have no clue!) at least now it is at the Reebok. I was there last night and to be honest does it matter who won the raffle he must have paid his ?1 to BWFC for the chance at winning. Plus yes the Lifeline was set up many years ago to save the Club but it is still a lottery and people who want to win cash prizes will join whether they support the Club or Not either way the Club benefits. But I do think on the whole there are a lot of supporters who attend but maybe more of them have accepted the fact that the players may not attend and just go for the sake of having a knees up It does naff people off but will it change, I'm not sure but why not just go for what it is, a party, get drunk, fall over and dance like a divvy on the checker board dancefloor
