Tied main match. Tied super over. Won on boundary count-back (cheers Jos).

I'd love to see someone try to script one closer with more twists, in any sport

Need to start defending singles. That wide was a poor poor call - batsman was 2 foot across to off and the bowler is allowed to follow.

If we get across the line, we'll be hearing a lot about those over-throws. Which would rather let Trent Boult off the hook given his bonus backwards step.

Cricket World Cup 2019
Agreed, and then I remembered Ben Stokes going for 6 after 6 the last time we had basically already won a major final...

Cricket World Cup 2019
Tie is a definite England win now - just need to keep them under 16

It would do if the game had been rained off. What's a winning score then?

Butler and Roy then for 6 balls. Archer to bowl?

Well, not how I pictured it, but I'll take it Don't give them anything out of sympathy now, has to finish the job.

I saw him hit 18 against New Zealand there once, he can find a 3 or 4 now.

Stokes has done a great job building a platform, but I'd feel an awful lot better if he showed a few more signs of being able to change gear; required rate is going to get a little too steep for Jos to do on his own

Cricket World Cup 2019
aye, or at least start to find a few more boundaries. From this position it would be criminal to end up 238/6 Wouldn't mind Plunkett in next if it comes to it, he's normally good value for quick runs or a quick out

Cricket World Cup 2019
Lovely from Buttler - right to start going a bit harder now and give ourselves 2 bites of the cherry if we lose a wicket, rather than playing Dhoni style and letting it all fall on 1 last push. 72 off the last 10 with a few batsmen left

Cricket World Cup 2019
You've already explained where we lost it, there's surely nothing these 2 can do to salvage the mess Woakes and Archer made of this for us 😛

Lancashire C C C
494/6 plays 50 odd all out... Would have been kinder to let them concede at the end of day 1 and both teams could have some extra T20 prep time

Kiwi commentator complaining it's an English commentary box?1? I hope Sky learn from using an ICC mandated list of commentators in future as this has been real hard work listening to the Kiwi's wet themselves and the rest of the world pile on whilst our lot try to play a straight bat

A poor man's Mark Ealham - even on a minefield this is a poor show. Not enormously bothered by the world cup as an event, but the prospect of seeing the 2 Kiwi's I manage in the office tomorrow feels pretty grim if we don't step up.

Hope Sky have arranged a good shoe shiner for him or he won't be happy. Have to know how to treat royalty when you're lucky enough to have them.

Cricket World Cup 2019
We're still favourites, although you're presumably now considering laying off your winnings. Simon Doull started off excellent but now he thinks they've got a real chance he's becoming pretty irritating to listen to.

I was deliberately sneaky saying Englishmen, unless there's a 4th I've missed
