  1. So apart from the odd little thing are you happy
  2. ok so i have been very much a TV fans for the past 6 years and before that i just grabbed the odd game due to work kids money etc . But i am now looking at buying a seaon ticket again , so my question is which part of the ground would suit an Ex burden paddock regular. SUMBIE
  3. in all the years of watching BOLTON i can say i have never felt so let down , we played with no passion and let the fans down i am gutted beyond belief.
  4. Sadly i am missing todays Semi but will be there in spirit which will please some fans who called me and many others glory hunters , as for the area well the Penrhyn Arms will be all Bolton this afternoon so COYW.
  5. [Why do people sit in that area near those chavs? if they only want to watch football. In answer i dont know why because the games i go to i just buy tickets and take my son , but if i had a choice i would be right near the away end. Having beeen brought up on the Lever end then the Burden Paddock i always loved the banter and abuse and sometimes the odd kick off. I know people on this site look down on lads that have in the past been involved in trouble but back then it was part of the game especialy away from home. Games like Brentford away which was our first win in London for years and a great support even though i got jumped after the game it was just another away day saturday. I would never put my son near any trouble or expect any other kids to get hurt , but fans are fans and i am glad we have lads who stand and not run because i had that against Sheff wednesday and its not fun. SUMBIE
  6. I agree bellamy being a good player but every where he has played he has upset the dressing room including the welsh one , so a far i am concerned the English hating sheep shagging interbreed leek picking coal mining knob can go to cardiff. Sumbie
  7. are colwyn bay in the draw that would be nice away game but never mind
  8. depends where you live I do not seem to remember this 30 mins max and away , but thanks for the replies as to where i live well its Penrhynside in Llandudno
  9. Okies after a few games in a few years mainly because i can be bothered with the queue to get away from the Rebok , i have decided to get two season tickets for me and my lad. But does anyone have any good ideas of where is the best to park away from the ground , this is because i cant be arsed getting home at 8 on saturday night ,
  10. As i have been away for quiet a while and lost all touch with what is going on , so could someone tell me if we have signed anyonw exciting as i am thinking of getting a season ticket for me and the lad.
  11. For the first time in ages i am looking forward to watching the whites and i know it will be on tv and not at the match but even so i am excited. Sumbie
  12. Edited - No posting entire articles from other sources or other copyrighted material Sorry but them's the rules.
  13. Its Dave Andersons coloumn and thats what he wrote about Bolton
  14. They say you only truly appreciate something when it?s gone. And I hope in time the Bolton boo boys who have driven Gary Megson from the Reebok will give him some credit for the job he has done in his two years there. Let?s be frank, Bolton are basically a blown-up Championship club who are only in the Premier League because of people like Gary Megson and Sam Allardyce before him. It?s easy to be swayed by the boos at the Reebok last night and to look at Bolton in the bottom three and think Megson was doing a bad job. What a prick
  15. George Mulhall Stan Anderson or lets get greaves back he was good
  16. Sorry but i just want the guy gone , was drinking with a west brom fan last night he said Megson has never changed and never will . He always blames something apart from himself and has no man management skills , so please lets get rid so i can once againg watch the whites and take my kids to the games before they like all kids here support liverpool or the red shite
  17. [i used to go to the most home games but since megson took over i quit , i am not one of those thats jumps on the band wagon but i think its time for Megson to go.
  18. My son asked me a question today about what was the first football game i went to , well i was dragged by my brother to the game aged 9 and stood on the leverend. Now i think the game was against plymouth but i cant find anything on the net to support my memory, i remeber my brother telling me to stand in the same place while he shot off with some lads down the paddock side to fight. So can some one point me in the right direction , and also while i am at it i was looking at the past managers but it did not mention that Nat Lofthouse took charge for a few games in the 80s. Was my mind altered by the Jennings in the King Bill or did he take charge. Sumbie
  19. 4th post on a thead that has nothing to do with him and Megson makes an appearance. It has got something to do with megson because a lot of people were quiet prepared to have Phil Brown as our manager and sack Megson. Although Megson has not set the prem alight we are still there , but i think if we had Brown as manager we would be in the Championship .
  20. . I will probably get stick for this but megson aint the most popular choice for me or most but the guy aint doing bad and if we get 3 points today i will be happy
  21. [quote name='Taffy White' date='Sep 26 2009, 05:51 PM' post='681913' Ok i am rob the brother of the guy that owns the pub the penrhynarms , so have we been to the games together banksy has been. Not Banksy but he is related ! 6.45 is by car parked up and sat in the ship with a pint. Train is a pain in the arse unless youre making a day of it, if you miss the connection at Piccadilly its 10 clock before you get back.
  22. [quote name='Taffy White' date='Sep 26 2009, 05:27 PM' post='681893 I that by train banksy i just want to start going again. Rob - one thing about lower gates means it aint that bad any more. I havent been to every game in the last two season but back in Colwyn for 6.45 is ususal.
  23. http://www.wanderersways.com/forum/style_images/1/folder_editor_images/icon_open.gif Ok i have a problem my son came home and asked for a liverpool shirt for his birthday i am shocked , i think i am to blame for not taking him to many games over the last few years. As i live in wales i just drive to the ground and park on the car park , but as it takes ages to get out i dont bother going to many gmes anymore. So my question is am i better parking somewhere else and getting the train to the ground , both my kids wear the colours and i dont want this to change ffs.
  24. happy birthday to mr megson , i will have a few pints for him and a bolton win. sumbie
