  1. yeah, was a few Bolton fans on the train. The entire team were supposed to be on the same train as us to Hearts, in pre-season, but there was the inccident with double bookings. The club obviously seems to see this is a good alternative to flying or coach. From what I heard Taylor talking to someone on the phone about thought I think he disagrees. Didn't seem to be too chuffed about travelling on a train with us peasants.
  2. Good day out at Tottenham. At Euston Station bumped into Matty Taylor outside upper crust of all places. Then walking to train came accross Owen Coyle and Chung Yong. The rest of the squad had stayed in London for the night. Had a few pictures and a bit of a chat, what a nice guy. Gave a bit of a verdict on the game, then as we went to our carriage, he wished us all the best and thanked us for our support, said how much he appreciated. I just thought it was fantastic for him too spend time with us and make the effort to interact with fans like he did. Also did anyone spot Andy O'Brien sat in the Away End second row from front?
  3. Premier League made a huge mistake by bending the rules for Portsmouth, allowing them to sell outside the window. I understand it's on a completely different scale, the two situations, but if they change the rules for one team they are then pressured to do the same for another. The rules are put in place for a reason, if one team breaks the rules more will follow.
  4. Kevin Nolan was at his best when he was around good footballers. With the likes of Okocha, Djorkaeff and Campo around he could concentrate on what he did best, a box to box combative midfielder, and a naturally gifted goal scorer. When the footballers left and he was forced to play with clowns like McCann who can't pass a parcel his performances dropped. The main issue that cause his performances to drop, was he hardly touched the ball because, the clowns that Megson had in Midfield shat themselves and got rid ASAP, when Okocha and co. he was given the ball more and could do his stuff. Which has been proven at Newcastle, playing with better footballers. However, when he left a part of Bolton Wanderers went with him that can't be replaced and as bad as people seem to think he was playing we missed him when he went, and we still miss him to this day, on and off the pitch.
  5. Bar the last one which he has admited himself was just experimenting something different, I think they're brilliant the navy away ome looks great.
  6. I know your all sick to the back teeth of the 'Bolton Kits To Be Made By Adidas' rumours, but I found these when browsing the web. Some guy has designed these, I've no idea if he's involved with Adidas or Bolton Wanderers, but from his comments, I know these are 'just for fun' experiments, so don't get your hopes up
  7. No, was just over exagerrating the fact it was mindless stupidty. From what I saw one of the blokes in the box and a lad in the stand below had a disagreement. Probably over something to do with our team, nothing wrong with that at all. Then some others got involed around as they seemed to think it was a Bolton fan v United fan disagreement. Then like it does as it grabbed the attention of most people arond there, people decided to think it was acceptable to start throwing things at them. That also highlights another thing I've noticed around there. I don't think it's soley a problem in that area, as it happens a lot, but I honestly don't think half the idiots who sit there understand the seriousness and the dangerousness of throwing coins. I know people get frustrated and hate such a player or another fan but the amount of coin throwing that goes on in ESL is disugsting and an embarassment.
  8. I'd imagine because they were wearing suits.
  9. Did anyone see them pillocks today. Think it was 2-0 at the time and some sort of conflict started between them and some people in the box behind. Now I know this isn't unusual around that area, but they hit an all time low today. As a few of them ran for their safety, one guy stood at the front shouting clearly that they were all Bolton fans. Now he must have shouted this at least 15 times, but unfortunately this must not have registered. So another member of the box came forward displaying a large Bolton tattoo on his arm. Now you would think the idiots would now clock on that these were 'one of us' but no....they continued to throw coins and god knows what at him It's a sorry sight when Bolton fans can't go and watch a match without being hurled with abuse and different objects by a bunch of tramps and scroats. I know we struggle for fans as it is, but I'd surely we can do without these morons.
  10. I regularly use thetrainline.com for my tickets , so I looked exactly 12 weeks before and they were 60 quid plus back then. Went to Arsenal last season for a mere 20 quid booking three week before. Also went to Westbrom last years for 12 quid and now for Villa its 20+. Looks like the cost of trains is just on the rise.
  11. If you click on the 29 quid a night promotion thing and do it through there you can get it for 49 quid mate
  12. I get mine from www.thetrainline.com , if that helps
  13. We're goign in the Kensington (Earls Court) Premier Inn. A mile from the ground and 49 quid per room, per night! Happy Days
