  1. Ian Firth on LOV twitter feed is worth a read Sluffy He confirmed Btw no Hillary Stonefrost today. A young lady represented Bolton. Don’t know who she is.
  2. His notes as always are carefully crafted - you have to read them and then reread them - he didn't actually say he was - he just plays a clever hand that seeks sympathy and gets the reader on side
  3. Headlining on Talk Sport now And being discussed shortly Whats happened this morning so far is what most thought would happen yesterday Its not clear who has triggered admin - KA Notes are ambiguous Court hearing now should be adjourned Administrator should have legal representative in court - probably FV person referred to
  4. His investors will not buy the club out of administration - Sharia Law prohibits it apparently
  5. This was in yesterday's Mirror Good article about our plight If anyone has not seen it https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/financial-gulf-between-premier-league-15004538
  6. That's the interesting bit - I would expect you to know in your circles who is funding who - and I just wonder whether Michael James has somehow brought two sets of "Tyre Kickers" together and part of the fallout in so doing is Basran himself - just a thought
  7. Whats your take on the fact that Parminder Basran is no longer part of The football ventures bid ?
  8. I was not in using the words fit and proper referring to the EFL test - anyone it seems can pass that test ( well almost ) When ED loaned monies to KA in respect of the Blue Marble Fiasco , he did so by putting charges over the BWFC group companies and over ICI , so that in the event that KA defaulted on that loan he had a mechanism in place by which he could regain control of the club That was his doing reflecting his wishes Sadly he is no longer with us to speak for himself and those left behind to carry out his wishes have thus far let him and the club and its supporters down But judgement day is tomorrow
  9. When you take ownership of a football club you have a moral obligation to ensure that you hold it on trust for the supporters of the club and when you pass it on to others to do likewise you have an obligation to ensure that such persons are fit and proper persons In that respect , taking all the millions Eddie put into this club aside for a moment , he failed in his obligations to us the supporters and whether they like it or not the Davies family have a moral obligation to rectify that error , or otherwise to know that Eddie was instrumental in instigating its downfall and if it does go under sadly that will be the contribution to the history of BWFC for which he will be remembered That is why Keir Gordon should act
  10. Good afternoon Howard Firstly his email address is in the public domain - i am just saving people the hastle of finding it here https://www.legal500.com/firms/3121/offices/444/lawyers/52213 Secondly the clock it ticking towards midnight and we might not have a football club to support if we all sit idly by and do nothing Thirdly there may indeed be no financial reasoning for them to force administration but given the fact that Eddie Davies was their client I would say morally at least they ought to ..
  11. Yes - Providing Keir Gordon does his stuff tomorrow and puts us into Administration He works as Eddie Davies Trustee and he now really does determine our future https://www.charlesrussellspeechlys.com/en/people/k/keir-gordon-/ I would urge everyone on here ( and pass this on to Wanderers fans elsewhere ) to get an email to him - reminding him of the responsibility and the hopes and the aspirations of all Wanderers fans that he holds in his hands . He is the one person that by putting us into administration can effectively guarantee our survival - keir.gordon@crsblaw.com What he does tomorrow off the pitch is more important than anything that any player in our history has ever done on it
  12. The Costs of the administration are not paid for by a specific individual They will be ultimately paid for by the unsecured creditors who will take the hit , have a read of something like this , https://www.companydebt.com/company-rescue-solutions/company-administration/administrator-remunerated-administration/ I am assuming that there are potential buyers out there that will purchase the club out of administration and the time frame in which we are in administration wont be that long
  13. There is a fourth scenario which I would rather not contemplate and that is that somehow Bassini gets EFL approval and he and Anderson manage to cobble together a last minute deal , I assume he is not your crackpot scenario To my mind its too late for a new bidder to come to the table and complete a deal in the available time frame and I dont think there is anyone out there who could / would do it The most likely scenario in my opinion is that ED Trustees will put us into administration tomorrow , that way they appoint the administrator. If that happens then either wednesday's hearing will get postponed or more likely the administrators legal representative will advise the court on wednesday that the business has gone into administration and that will put proceedings on hold If ED Trustees do appoint the administrators then it is widely rumoured to be these people David Rubin and Partners https://www.drpartners.com/ who coincidentally are handling affairs at Blackpool FC
  14. I have said previously that If it came to a stage where a phoenix club had to be formed you would end up with 2 clubs and I very much think that would be the case Supporters trust may take the moral high ground but they would alienate a lot of people This site may well end up as a platform for that alienated group , who in turn influence a lot of the core support Think of the numbers at Puds funeral for example - that is the group of hardcore support that to me is the very essence of BWFC , whoever carries that group , carries the heritage For the record I dont think it will come to that and apparently this is the man in whose hands our destiny lies https://www.charlesrussellspeechlys.com/en/people/k/keir-gordon-/ According to Alan Nixon he ( Eddie Davies Trustee ) is the man who can / will trigger administration Maybe we should each email him a reminder to get on with it
  15. The EFl Statement says "As a consequence, Bolton Wanderers is now deemed to be guilty of misconduct by the EFL which will result in disciplinary proceedings against the Club being taken at an appropriate time." I sincerely hope that irrespective of any punishment that because of the rules in place have to be applied to the club , that such punishment is extended to KA personally and that he is banned from working in or around football in any capacity for life. All this has arisen on his watch and responsibility rests on his shoulders
  16. EFL statement just read out on Talksport Aware of situation At Bolton - Bassini not provided proof of funds and source of those funds , but they remain ready to assist parties where they can
  17. Prior to Administration you have to go to court - there is a process to follow to get an administrator appointed - hopefully this is in hand The costs of Administration are borne not by the person putting the business into administration but by the business itself In effect it means the unsecured creditors carry the cost of administration , instead of getting Xp in the £ they get Yp , the difference being the cost of admin
  18. Just heard him - about 130pm if you can play it back He has said He now needs to find another £14 million - on top of the monies he has already provided evidence of Wants an assurance on the any potential points deductions re players striking / embargos re other clubs being owed monies He offered to keep the Hotel open and pay the staff by transferring £200k to cover wages but was stopped by KA Said something about might be better going into admin and buying back as would save £10 million
  19. Talksport trying to get an update from Bassini before show finishes at 1pm
  20. There's a good article about Blackpool here - worth a read as we have a lot in common https://www.gq-magazine.co.uk/article/blackpool-fc-the-futures-bright-the-futures-tangerine They got rid of the Oystons back in March and have still not got new owners
  21. I do not know who Nixon is referring to - If It does go into administration I would Imagine Gaspard Will be amongst several interested parties Remember Blackpool had over 50 expressions of interest with half a dozen serious bidders amongst them I would imagine we would attract several serious bidders
  22. I have just quoted the above back because I think they will allow it ( Pre Pack ) IF the football creditors are paid in FULL - though I still dont understand why KA is classified as a " Football Creditor"
  23. EFl have just said - ( not a lot really !! ) Discussions have continued with Bolton Wanderers, Brentford and other relevant parties throughout the course of the past 48 hours in regards to the rescheduling of last weekend’s Sky Bet Championship fixture. There has been suggestions in the public domain that that the game could potentially take place on Wednesday 1 May 2019. However, Bolton Wanderers has not yet confirmed this will be the case and the EFL will advise via the appropriate channels as soon as a definitive decision is reached. EFL Regulations do provide for any match to be played within four days of the end the normal playing season.
  24. You still legally have to issue payslips ( whether you pay the salary or not ) on or around the due pay date , be that weekly or monthly - as the contract of employment states - so the tax or Ni that you are thinking you can save by not paying the salaries when due is still a liability of the business and continues to grow each month and interest will accrue daily on the overdue tax
  25. I might be wrong on this but having been adjourned twice I dont think it will be again , especially given the length of time it was adjourned at the second hearing The clock is ticking down and the Inland Revenue want their money https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown/generic?iso=20190508T12&p0=1345&msg=BWFC+-+The+End+of+Days+&font=cursive
