  1. Right, in a desperate bid to stop the cockneys winning (I hate cockneys me) and by way of rectifying some vital omissions and wasting some more time, we have a comedy playoff involving last weeks winner and the three notable absentees from the original list. So now, you're running across the deck of the sinking ship clutching your complete Only Fools dvd when you spot copies of complete Royle Family, Phoenix Nights and Fast Show boxed sets....questions is, do you swap??
  2. so you keep saying anyhow, back t'top
  3. cant believe a bunch of barrow boys are going to win this. I blame the silly red ginger who never put Phoenix Nights, Royle Family or the Fast Show down on the original lists....
  4. Right, well as MBB and Harry Enfield tied they can both go through. Leaves us with the ones shown above. Same deal, you're abandoning ship, though this time you can grab a dvd compilation of all of the shows in question that were ever made (again sorry to say that the porno cabinet is locked so Smith's wont be able to grab that Anal Annie Does Europe compilation he had his eyes on). Remember that you may be months if not years on the desert island (which, strangely, is equiped with dvd player, tv and mains electricity but little else). Some points to ponder: Monty Python - there's at least 5 series plus a few specials on the compilation....so even if you can't stomach the ministry of silly walks again, there's bound to be stuff you haven't seen before or at least not for ages. Fawlty Towers? Well only 12 made, so do you know them all off by heart anyway? Father Ted - 3 series with the last one a bit ropey....piss funny though. Porridge - well very much done to death on tv but absolute classic. bit claustrophobic maybe for desert island viewing Simpsons - undoubtedly funny, but do you want to your only company for the next however long to all be Americans? Plus the fact that its a cartoon will limit its ability to act as - ahem - hand shandy material (Porridge will undoubtedly suffer on the same score). Only Fools and Horses - done to death? Blackadder? Fair few series plus one or two specials - but again, dont you know them all off by heart anyhow Men Behaving Badly - fair enough, but a comedy about boozing and shagging might just highlight your sense of isolation? Harry Enfield - no one else on the island to practise the catch phrases on. Of course its "only me" - there is noone else. Poll closes monday morning.
  5. I thought this might the group of death what with L.O.G. in there - but no, it looks like Python and Fawlty will romp home
  6. back to the top - neck and neck to see who joins Father Ted in tomorrow's grand final
  7. back to the top - who will join the Simpsons in the final?
  8. Anyhow, looks like Fools and Horses and Blackadder making it from this group
  9. yeh. alright so I fucked it up - just add em together
  10. give me strength!!!!! Look at the other posts - all 3 of 'em
  11. ....if the boat is sinking, you know there's a video player on the desert island, the porn cabinet is locked, so it has to be just one comedy video to keep you going until you're rescued. There'll be 4 lots of 9, so vote for one in each group, but dont post owt until all 4 have appeared - top 2 in each group go through to the grand final! Oooh I could crush a grape....
  12. Shock, horror! WW contains 11 people with at least a modicum of taste!
