Pah! Barry Knight managed that in one game! -
Human Cannonball dies in tragic accident at Billy Smart's Circus. "It's terrible" lamented a distressed Billy. "We'll never get another man of his calibre"

Maybe posted before, but hey ho. I only hope it was done as parody given the quote-able quotes...

We had a 300,000 crowd at Wembley. End of thread đ

Aye - hadn't thought of it like that. After the passing of the late lamented Rembrandt I don't know he have anyone here who went to 58? I know Casino had meant to, but he had a 21st do that day.

Yeh, did both as well as all the others. Barry Knight sill haunts, but at least we knew we had the moral high ground (pitch invasion that was anything but friendly, while the bloke on the Tannoy taunted us. You'd think the FA would have done summat, but their Sheepshanks ruled that roost.....so no). Aldershot I remember the angry crowd in the car park "addressing" the board who were holed up in that suite at the Manny Road. Then some pillock lobbed a brick through the windscreen of the Aldershot team coach and the driver was being treated for schrapnel. "yeh" I thought, "there's me thinking it was all the fault of the board, the manager and the players. But no, the real culprit all along was the Aldershot team coach driver. Poor sod". I do remember trudging back to the bus station to get back to Howfen and thinking that as Burnley had just survived in the league by the skin of their sixth finger, that could be us next year. Fortunately, I was very wrong...

4 and 8 for me Even Reading, one of the greatest things ever in the end, was a fuck up really. Two down and a penalty coming up - at that stage you could repeat the game umpteen times and we'd not win.

Didn't we play City at home in two consecutive league matches in one of the Prem seasons? So last game of one season and first of next?
-
Which reminds me, has Barry Knight died yet? I've got a grave to piss on....

it's all about the toothpaste you use. Proper stuff like Sensodyne and you're laughing. Get whitening one and you don't even need to turn the light on when you go for a dump in the middle of the night.

Reminded me of a few years ago. Lass at work was going on about how her boyfriend was helping her with the various requirements. "He's really good at parallel parking" she says innocently. Cue various guffaws from the lads there. "Has he done reversing round the corner yet?" says I. Now I do get a dirty look as the penny drops.

Ashes cannot be digsted, so you lock em up until they've had a crap (in the manner of suspected drug mules), sift the ashes from the shite and reconstruct the document. Probably using AI, but I haven't thought that bit through yet.

That's hard enough to believe, but what is even harder is why they wanted him in the first place? Even Boris would have been better, and he was born there. Could out bluster Trump - who'd agree to owt just to shut him up.

I see Rochdale and York are still light years ahead in National League but of course only ones goes up as of right. If they match each others results next game then its winnder takes all last game, Dale at home. If they win then York could miss out on automatic despits having 107 points! They'd then enter a playoff tournament with a team currently 32 points behind them. Bit harsh, to say the least!

If you like the geeky side of that, check this out. Talks about how the software was built. Not coded but built. Literally, with copper wire and rings...
