The fact that we have one team that bid 25k to see the books, given that 25k is nothing in footballing terms to prospective owners who are multi millionaires or even billionaires, backs up your point more than it does mine. Im obviously bias because I know how good the club can be when we’re doing well but I do think we have more favourable points than just founder member status and historic Cup wins.

You’d think there’d be at least one rich cunt out there that wants to buy a football club. Even if it means overpaying for a league one club that’s on -12 points. How’d we get left with such a shortage of options? One party paying 25k to see the books, ONE!

I hope it isn’t as stark as that. The Brentford game was cancelled. This game is under threat of suspension. I know it’s nothing to do with a waterlogged pitch or anything like that, but they do have the option to rearrange it. With Brentford it was end of the season and players were due to go on holiday which would’ve caused problems delaying the fixture. Definitely still bad getting it suspended but maybe that’s just what FV want so they have more time. Hopefully it does force something through today. Had enough of this carry on.

I was using spineless as an adjective for the EFL in general, my point was that they’ll let any deal go through I think, regardless of later consequences. Fine by me as long as we survive but not a long term solution.

Nothing wrong with it, whether that’s allowed or not, I haven’t a clue. Good point on season tickets, I just think these things have to either all be sorted for the start of the season, or there won’t be a club there. Most important of all the player wages.

Cheers, that would make sense. Honestly though, the spineless EFL would probably rather see our youngsters get slaughtered every week than have the club liquidate. Bet they’ll bend over backwards for any deal to go through even if they don’t fully comply with FPP.

Assuming that FV or liquidation are the only options as I think Sluffy said a few pages back, what is the longest this can go on? Not trying to feed more speculation but is there any financial date everything would need to be sorted by before the first game of the season? Assuming to start the season the players need paid, season tickets need doing, kits etc... There must be some “deadline” very soon as to when the deal must be done. Maybe FV have new kit suppliers, season tickets, player wages ready to pay out as soon as they get control but I mean, it’s not like that could be done on August 2, right? I would imagine it would be the week of 29 July at the very latest, otherwise we won’t be ready to start the season, surely?

Incredibly depressed, just waiting for the final nail in the coffin now, that’s how it feels at least. Trying to hope that the creditors will come to some sort of resolution otherwise they’re all losing out but I’m sick of hoping.

FV ownership model is based off deal for hotel and club. Hotel admins won’t sell for 4-8 weeks. Where do you go from there?

Is there any way we can continue administration into the season? I know it was discussed at some point here but are there any facts on that, or is it just all ifs buts and maybes?
