i'm fairly sure if H's team take control tomorrow at 5pm then wages, bills and debts all be paid by weekend... They seem the type that would steady the ship instantly. Let's hope they sack the manager just as quick!!!

I'm guessing they will have done a deal in principle with Moonshift to pay for the shares tomorrow once they are reclaimed. They wouldnt have paid in advance as technically they might not get them if Ken does a deal beforehand. It is a guess, maybe @Howardroark can confirm?

They will only pay it once the shares are reclaimed I imagine, because anytime before tomorrow, Ken can do a deal with anyone else..

I think if Howards bidders take the shares tomorrow, they pay Moonshift the £5m for them instead...

I am quite relaxed about this whole scenario now - confident that Bassini wont be able to provide funds today, or prior to the 4.30pm deadline tomorrow, allowing Howard's team to swoop in as that appears to be the main option right now. As Howard says, his team have already done their FPP with the league, and have funds and a plan ready to go to pay of debts and take control of the club. I suppose it's just a waiting game til tomorrow, and then in that time hoping that Bassini doesn't somehow turn up with a chest full of dosh... which seems unlikely.

But things haven’t changed for them, they have waited their 14 days for the club and now it’s nearly here, they’re prepared to accept money to lose the club!? KA was always gonna create a circus in the 14 days.

Exactly. Why would you try and stop someone taking the shares on Tuesday if you had the money to pass the FPP tomorrow? He hasn’t got the money, that’s why. It’s going down to the wire with Howard’s guys me thinks.

Howard, Providing this all goes to plan, and your team take control. Will you have a role to play at the club under the new buyer?

I think the EFL are being clever here for once. By asking for more info on the Bassini bid, they are technically stalling it so time runs out and Howard’s team swoop in on Tuesday. They cannot be seen to say no to Bassini as he is ‘the only option’ currently with Anderson as that would mean we go to the wall and they won’t want that on their conscience, and technically bu delaying they aren’t approving or saying no. Like Howard said, the EFL won’t accept bassini while the other bid is in play, & by stalling bassini they are allowing the other team to take control on Tuesday so in theory are making the decision on the next owners themselves because clearly Ken won’t sell directly to Howard’s team because they haven’t matched the price. And by Bassini’s team offering £2m they know it’s gonna go passed Tuesday so they lose the club to Howard’s team.
