The players we are after are all with top clubs whose players were at the World Cup. ACD the lad from Liverpool plus Kenny had been injured. These clubs won’t release them until a few weeks. It may be we go into the season without the back up quality but by Lincoln at home the team will look a lot different

To be fair Dong has played two friendlies at grounds where there’s no space at Oldham and Fleetwood. ACD struggled at Burton and Stevenage

I think our academy is starting to bear fruit you have Conway who is a first team regular, Toby Ritchie who looks one hell of a player, Inwood looks like he could play at league 1 level and Irwin who needs a good loan. We need all four playing at league 1 level first maybe TR might stay but future looks good and if they all progress then that’s one hell of a spine all for nowt

I was prepared last season to give Randall the benefit of having a full pre season with us hoping he’d turn out better but he never did. Taylor deserves a chance to show what he can do with a full pre season behind him. I’d like to see him at LCB rather than LB though. When he has played at LCB I’ve been impressed but no so much at LB
