has anyone off here heard if theyve got tickets for the ashes test yet?ps itk tip. dont phone lancs ticket office today and ask about the ashes, their ticket office manager died yesterday.

there was something in t'Evenin News last night about most tickets allocated already and they will be offering alternative dates for the unsuccessful applicants. The test will be a complete sell out.

we've been told that we should be ok because we applied for thursday. the ballott will be for people who have applied for friday and sat (sold out) they will go in the hat for the remaining tickets on thur and sunday.

 

just wondered if anyone had had owt offical through?

Applied for thurs and sunday. 5 tickets each day. I only want one or the other - but you can bet they'll probably give me both - whilst leaving someone else without any.

I received an application in Nov/Dec last year - but did nowt about it. Thought I'd leave it until the New Year - then got told they'd virtually sold out every day at every venue.

Then an email this week from LCC said tickets for Thu and Sun were still available via a ticket ballot.

 

Only thing that worried me was sending off an envelope with LCC Ticket Ballot on it. Every "corrupt" postie in Manchester would know that most of these applications will have credit card information on them.
