March 12, 200521 yr Apparently Steve Bennett got the champagne at the end of the game. Clearly Arsenal's best player today. He was instrumental in everything Arsenal did well today and was very effective in disrupting our midfield's progress. Opta Rating 1435. Daily Star: Star Man
March 14, 200521 yr smiles i don't give a toss what older generation non-football fans think of him i don't care what other football fans think of him i don't care what talkshite think of him it isn't really that important what we (the fans) think of him at the moment he's the best player we are likely to get, so you give him a longer rope but he's got to stop being a pillock otherwise he'll never be on the pitch to show how good he is stan agree with the sentiment of your post, and i think for EHD it must be strange to be liked by supporters. BUT the mindless aceptance by some people of everything he does including clapping him off on saturday will not help him realise how much his actions have affected the club and by definition the fans. he should say something not to appease grandma and grandad but just to acknowledge to me that he understands that the ??50 i spent on saturday that lasted 10 minutes was wasted by his actions. (ok the first ??25 was my fault for losing the ticket but hey ho, he gets blamed for everything else)
March 14, 200521 yr The money that it would take to buy Diouf would be better spent on a player who will play 38 games a season. How many chances does Diouf need? If he had a brain cell it would be very lonely. except a player with diouf's ability and potential would cost 7, 8 or 9m coz he's a bit of a red ginger, we'll ave a damn good player for a helluva lot less!

But can we afford the risk- even at 2-3M- one more red and he's going to end up doing a 10 game stretch like that nob from Southampton
March 14, 200521 yr he's let us down badly but now missing 6 games of the league and in my opinion losing us that FA Cup tie imagine where'd we would be if he had been able to play in those 6 games but I don't think we'd be in 6th without him
March 14, 200521 yr he needs to do something charitable Like attend our sportsmans dinner and donate some items for the auction perhaps?
March 14, 200521 yr Love him or loathe him, we wouldn't be in 6th place without him. Apparently Sam is saying he'll have to think about whether or not to try signing EHD at the end of the season. To be honest, this could play right into our hands, cos EHD is even less sellable now than he was a week ago so I think its just Sam's way of starting off the bidding low... Time will tell, and we'll just have to see how we cope in the next few games without him. I really don't want to remind everyone of what happened to our form the last time EHD was suspended... #-o
