Maybe each misdemeanour in themselves is not unusual in football. The thing is they are being committed by one player. He spits, dives and gets himself sent off possibly ruining any chance of success that his team mates have worked hard for all season.

Just with the extra 4 points at Blackburn and City which he earned by scoring the two goals, we would be 4 places lower

The only possile drawback is that all the adverse publicity may affect Sam's persuasive skills when attempting to bring in new players.

 

Whether they feel he'd represent value for money if he keeps missing games is a matter for the management- judging from the story I was told Saturday- probably not :-#
