The Chippy

Featured Replies

When I moved to Bradford I couldn't believe the state of the chippy's. First one I went in we asked for chips and gravy and he put the chips in a tray and the gravy in a plastic cup. What's that about - did he think I was going to drink the gravy or something? Stick it on the chips man.

And besides which, they're not even chip shops! Feckin' FISH shops!

Greasy Jims and Sweaty Bettys on Morris green lane was ok but you couldn`t get any finer chips than Hartigans chippy further down the road, although the portion sizes were nowt to write home about.

Hartigans was indeen a quality plate meat pie, chips peas and gravy but he was a miserable bastard

The one facing Stags Head on deane takes me back to my school days.... many a dinner spent in there ordering them massive scraps

current favourite is Pauls on Highfield Rd Widnes :D

Chows Chippy, Tonge Moor Road

Indded. Bradofrd is a good chippy free zone and no doubt about it. It makes up for it with the odd Indies here and there though. :D

Bennetts Lane???

Went in there once and they said they don't do ragging pies ](*,)

That's all

Scout Road chippy is always good value and tasty. The gravy is a little runny though at times 8-[

Apart from that, it's Su's on Belmont Road.
