Kaiser Chiefs

What does everyone think? Heard the album a few times and apart from the first two tracks, Everyday I love you less and less and I predict a riot, the rest seems shite. Although it worth buying the album for those two tracks.

Want to buy a few CDs this weekend, can anyone suggest any?

Is the latest New ORder album shite?

If anyone's interested the Doves album is superb.

D Smiley not heard the Bees yet, which album should I get first?

Sloanes, remember when I tipped The Killers to you about 18 months ago :D

Saw them a couple of months ago with Bloc Party, Kaiser Chiefs and Futureheads on the NME Tour for about ??17 :D/

They are all on at Leeds/Reading along with Pixies :D/ :D/

I like The Bravery too, they are out there.

Remember it well Carlos, Smiley was also the first one to mention The Bees to me. Wanderersways where its at.

Omerta, quality new band

Kaiser Chiefs - Grows on you, bit Clashy in parts. SSM spot on, first two tracks awesome.

Killers - Toronto, brilliant. Support band threw a sicky, they dragged a band off the street. They should have stayed there. Hot Fuss worth a listen.

Kasabian - Detroit, small venue, they did all the album. Excellent.

Music - Detroit, couldnt get the sound right, spoiled it. Album superb.

What about British Sea Power? Any good?

Plus those cunts are now officially Wolves fans never mind the Starycats quiffs.

Steophonics was an aberration I have managed to avoid them for 7 years and decide I'll buy this album.  However, you got to admit Dakota is a top tune.

Dakota is a good song - reminds me of someone else. Then again, U2 often pump out one worthwhile track then follow it up with the usual dross.

The Music are playing in Warrington middle of May.

Not heard it yet but getting good reviews

As just mentioned..

Kaisers..Zutons, Browny.

Not into Franz Ferdinand, Bloc Party, The Killers or Kasabian.

I'd plump for the new British Sea Power album out at the moment. Top band.

The Coral have a new single out which is good, not sure on the album date though.

Also got the new OCS album, just one of those bands i've always loved.

Also liked the sound of the Dead 60's last 2 records, again though, not sure of an album.

Seems like theres some decent bands around at last instead of this pop shite.

Also liked the sound of Abba, Supertramp, Kid Creole, Randy Newman, ELO, Genesis and of course Quo.

Really?

july 8th apollo. fcukin atmospheric as fcuk.

so good he posted it twice. got told by "big neil" at x-records last autumn that Interpol would be the next big thing. got Antics listened to it, slashed my wrists and had a frontal lobotomy. to say it didn't rock my boat would be an understatement.

but being an honest chap, I'll roll it out today at work and see if it still has a pulse.
