The Kingsley @ Victoria Cross is top quality but a little expensive. Brilliant breakfasts though.

 

Don't stay at the airport hotel, it may be cheap but it's miles from town (although there's a bus), food's crap and has no character.

4 nights in total. 4 nights too many. And the builders redeveloping the airport went through the mains incomer whilst I was in the shower, leaving the hotel without electricity so the pumps couldn't pump the hot water, I couldn't rinse off or dry my hair and breakfast was reduced to just the cold stuff. Not that I've a jaundiced view or anything

been twice in last two years.cool city centre with loads of pubs.clubs are shit though.b&b on high street will cost about 20 euros and 10 min walk into town.

 

smaller town than Bolton,but a much better centre.
