Did anybody actually think it was funny?

 

I sat stony faced for half an hour!

 

I've not been like that since the last time I watched My Family!

we watched it for the first time ever,

2 things made me laugh, the incontinent lady in the supermarket.

and those 2 sumo ladies wrestling naked.

 

what does that say about my sense of humour eh???eh???

Well that was about as good as it got!

 

Honestly, if you're going to hype something up like the BBC did, you've got to make sure it's going to live up to it!

 

Now Rome on the other hand is CLASS! Have you seen that yet? Can heartily recommend it!

Was pretty crap, I liked the first two series and expected a lot more, especially from Anne eh eh eeehhh

The Vicki Pollard sketch was piss funny and I liked the 'only gay in the village' one just because he looked so stupid

 

Other than that I can take it or leave it

I thought it was ace!!

 

the vicky pollard sketch was top notch but the lou and andy ones were a bit predictable! the two fat bird were propper good though!

Just before the fat sumo bird sketch i was complaining i was peckish, and decided on super fat content cheese on toast,

needless to say, my appetite mysteriously got ignored after looking at their 'bodies'.

F*ck weight watchers/ slimming world classes.

Hire a 'fatsuit', walk around in that for a day, and within a month you would be skeletal.

Sketch 1 - Gay Advisor to Prime Minister tells Kofi Annan "You're such a bitch" at UN Oil Food Programme inquiry with hilarious consequences!

 

Sketch 2 - Old Lady wets herself AGAIN in the library whilst trying to loan a book.

 

Sketch 3 - Dafyd organises pride march through town fully expecting to be alone. On his arrival, he is aghast to find 10 other blokes their dressed in Village People type clothing. "I'm the only gay in the village" he shouts.

 

Sketch 4 - Ann is witness to a mugging and after giving a statement to the police is asked to give evidence in court. The judge asks, can you see the man you are describing here in court today?" "Eeh eeh eeeeeeh" She responds.

 

Sketch 5 - Andy and Lou visit the fun-fair. "I want to go on the waltzer" says Andy. Lou is suprised. "But you dont like waltzers Andy, you said they make you feel sick and dizzy and you're afraid of the gypsies?"

"Yeah I know" replies Andy. Lou goes over to the counter to buy two tokens, Whilst his back is turned, Andy jumps on the waltzer and starts spinning the cars around! Just as Lou is getting his change, Andy jumps back in his seat. Lou thinks he's been their all along!

 

And so forth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

It was awful, Peep Show series 3 is the way to do it.

Peep show is class and no mistake!

I found the voice over bits more funny.

Now that was soooooo predictable what was going to happen next.....................and sooooooooooooooo not funny

Programmes like that are only hyped up that much if they are known to be a little weak (such as Lost).

 

Many of the characters seem to be very similar to many of those on League of Gentlemen.

 

For example, Fat Fighters is similar to Paulines job club, the Eeh eeh eeh thing is similar to Pamela Doove and Matt Lucas in the fat suit has the same voice as Papa Lazarou.

 

Strange eh!
