my sky box is fooked, and sky want ??65 call out for an engineer to sort it, now ive been thinking about upgrading to sky plus+ for a while but dont know how much it costs for existing customers, does anyone know?

 

i seem to remember some of you on here upgrading and bartering a little with sky threatening to go on cable etc, did you get anything out of it?

 

and just for arguments sake with them how much is cable with the full package sports movies etc

ntl were offering the full package for 150 odd a year less than sky

 

i mentioned that and oddly enough they agreed to waive the fee

 

 

re skyplus, got a thing through today, ??45 + tenner a month for multiuroom

Got Sky+ just over a year ago (October time) After 6 months box blew up, had to get another.

 

A month ago it fcuked up again and wont record ANYTHING and I cant no signal on 1,2,3,4,5. Just after warranty ran out.

I actually swapped over to NTL today, this telemarketing plum has been phoning me for weeks and I've been whistling and coming out with phrases like 'that expensive eh'. Anyhow, he finally talked me into it

 

NTL Television deal - including all movies and sports channels

NTL Local deal - which is line rental and free off peak phone calls

NTL Broadband - -1MB 24/7

 

Total cost - ??40.25 per month for 12 months

 

Bargain.... only problem is that their customer service is shite so just hope nothing goes wrong...... oh and they're getting Sky+ at the beginning of next year

How do people get the time to watch all this television? I have trouble watching what's on 1-5 never mind all the freeview stuff
