Regardless of what he did, someone has lost a dad, and that's cause for celebration? Give your head a shake. perhaps, but why the hell all the tv coverage on him dying. how must that poor guy's family feel who was ran over and killed by two young lads the other night as they tried to steel his car. im sure they are chuffed to bits that some alcoholic piss head is getting so much media attention. people die everyday, what did george best to to deserve so much media attention? apart from rob a liver from someone who would be much more deserving of it wouldnt be suprised if he was awarded a saintly title in his death! everybody to their own opinions i say

Do you think he wanted the media camping outside the hospital waiting for him to croak? Do you think the family of the bloke killed buy the scrotes would want the press camped outside their house? As you said, everybody has their own opinion, but my opinion is it's piss poor to rejoice in the death of some fecker you've never met.

bwfc_sue Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 it's not the fact that im doing somersaults around my living room, am just fed up of seeing, hearing about him every time i open a paper or every time i turn on the tv he's been made out to be some type of national hero. at the top of his career he had everything and abused it he's was just a footballer as for him probably not wanting all the media publicity he wasnt too shy to invite reporters into his home to show them how well he was doing with his new liver and how well he wasnt doing
mickbrown Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 so you have to actually meet someone to form an opinion now fcuk right off bloke was a red ginger good riddance Nope, I've never met you and I think I've got you sussed out.

bwfc_sue Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 the only people i can say i feel sorry for are the ones who are stuck on a waiting list for a new liver and being severely disadvantaged in this health system of ours [-X
Kenny Dalgleish Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 got to agree with you there menrgayspuffsnqueers.
Zico Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 thing is though, you've got imagine how you'd react if Utd fans on their message board had multiple threads rejoicing had, for example, Nat Lofthouse died - most off here would be in there in a shot calling them sick bastards. Personality wise they probably couldn't be further apart but let's face it, no one's rejoicing that he's dead because he was a drug abuser who let himself down more than once you need publicity like this to bring home the downside and dangers of liking pop - but if the news reported on every person in this country whom had a bit of bad luck it would be a long, boring and depressing viewing how must that poor guy's family feel who was ran over and killed by two young lads the other night as they tried to steel his car spose the media coverage helps you form an opinion, but fact is, both died, you rejoice in one, and the other you feel sorry for, he might've been a right c??nt who was asking for it, you never know think the point is, c??nt or not, it wasn't a pleasent way to go, I don't have much sympathy for him given the chances he had, but to be pleased he's suffered and died is a bit wrong given he wasn't exactly an evil bastard or anything, cept for his utd days
bwfc_sue Posted November 25, 2005 Author Posted November 25, 2005 he wasn't exactly an evil bastard or anything' date=' [/quote'] nah, your right, being a wife beaters no big deal! [-X
Zico Posted November 25, 2005 Posted November 25, 2005 he wasn't exactly an evil bastard or anything, nah, your right, being a wife beaters no big deal! [-X ok, ok, I could see why some would frown upon that but what I meant was like evil as in went out and killed loads of people a la saddam or someone like that whom you could probably raise a smile to when you hear of their demise that afore mentioned bloke killed by robbers may have also beaten his wife, so you shouldn't complain too much about the media coverage as at least it allows you to form the opinion you have
