Burndens Bogs Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I feel fcuking robbed. - Good Stelios goal disallowed against West Ham at the Reebok, and a good Faye goal disallowed in Marseille - both proved on TV to be perfecly good goals. They say these decisions even themselves out over a season - but we have been cheated out of 2 major competitions through dog shit refereeing - FACT
exiledwhite2 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 Hard to disagree, even taking decisions out of the equation, we've lost to teams who scarcely deserved to go through. I AM bitter

Shouldn't have even gone to a replay if the ref had got THE BIG decision correct.

Agreed. Both teams were pretty shite to be honest - could have gone either way. I'm happy with our 6 points haul anyway.
Burndens Bogs Posted March 16, 2006 Author Posted March 16, 2006 We would have beaten West Ham at home with officials who could do their jobs. But i think Marseille were better than us and would have got through EVEN IF WE HAD WON THE FIRST LEG 1-0. No,i'm not on about the penalty descisions at the Reebok,i meant Fayes disallowed "goal" in Marseilles that would have put us 2-0 up,i don't think Marseilles would have come back from that Anyway, all water under the bridge now, lets concentrate on getting into Europe again,it just seems that sometimes we have to play against the ref aswell - But like i said, OIM NOT BITTER
WHUJOHN11 Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 no your right your not bitter ...your a red ginger
HR Posted March 16, 2006 Posted March 16, 2006 I do remember the 'off-side' which wasn't given when Michael Ricketts scored down there. Probably kept us up and sent them down, so it does work both ways.
