For everything that this season has promised i fear that we will end up with absolutely nothing (Including Intertoto) and a worse points total than last season.

 

3 out of next 4 are against top three teams with max points here 3 and brum away max points 1. The away form is becoming laughable with no win in 2006.

 

I can see it where we have to re-arrange charlton, boro at home and we play 4 games in just over a week in the last days of the season.

 

A team so lacking in creativity and quality cannot give so many leads away as we have done recently. We are nearly back to the days where we conceded in the last few minutes in every game which is in the balance at this stage.

 

For all the dark days watching Bolton, this season although very enjoyable in europe is quickly becoming one of the most disappointing for many years with so much promised yet so little delivered.

 

Hand on heart i cannot see us finishing above 8th position and what a major disappointment that would be for a team that has been in the top 6 all season.

I STILL settle for not going down.. too short is the memory of a Wanderers fan.. well mine aint.. no f00kin way i wanna freeze my balls off watching Bolton play the likes of Cardiff ever again.

 

That said.. I wouldn't mind us winning something.. especially with the England job dangling over Sam like a carrot on a stick.

in those days we were bottom and it happened every week

 

had games in the 95/96 season last 80 mins we would've stayed up you know

 

a last minute 4-3 defeat given our comeback is dissapointing, but I think too many are showing the fickle nature of football fans far too quickly

 

Europe was good, but it won't happen every season and when we don't qualify we shouldn't consider it a poor season

 

though I still think we'll get in this season

we have 10 games to go, it is time bolton fans put up the goods and cheered the team home and away for the run in, we may not get into europe this year but it is time the fans dragged the team over the line.

Zico is right. Football fans are the most fickle f*ckers in the country...............anyone remember that Boro fan chucking his ST at Steve McLaren the other week? A few decent results and they're saying he deserves the England job again.

Couldn't agree more. The Reebok for the last few home games in particular has been like a morgue. It would be easy as so often happens to make excuses, the reebok is shiite, It's not as good as the old days, we played cr#p against Middlesborough, we've got no chance in the next 3/4 games etc etc etc

 

Lets get behind our team for what has been, in this first european season, a fantasic experience. We may just be able to give the team that extra edge which they may well need if we want to experience Europe again.

I always get behind the team, but I'll moan about the stadium because I f*cking hate the place. I'm amazed sometimes by football fans though, on rivals Boro are spouting about us being sh*te and how Sam shouldn't manage England & they only managed a last minute winner?

 

Footballs fans are usually stupid, and have very short memories.

I don't know what all the fuss is about. Allardyce says qualifying for Europe is the priority (well ahead of the FA or UEFA Cup), so when we get to the UEFA we play a weakened team, so that we can concentrate on qualifying on Europe for next season.
