Surprisingly, I have it on DVD and Video!! Got the DVD dirt cheap from 101cd.com in Jersey when they were having one of their regular clear outs. Not a bad outfit them. I have bought quite a lot of stuff from them at real knockdown prices.

The film probably wasn't an accurate account of the era (but i wouldn't know because it was a bit before my time) I watched it as a teenager in London when it first came out and enjoyed it, and i just fancied seeing it again.

As a little kid(1966 ish) i remember the country was going mad over the Beatles and the Stones,but even then i preferred the Kinks and the Small Faces,so i s'pose i would have been a Mod if i'd been old enough. The opening bars of "You really got me" or "All or nothing" still send a tingle up my spine after all these years. Must have been a special time,to be a teenager and be part of it all.

Are you fishing there Bogs? 16 in 1970 me. Caught the latter end but always a Who, Action, Small Faces fan over that Merseybeat stuff. Also heavily into black American stuff including Blues. Bolton Palais. Now there was a place. Met the missus there. Countless battles. Seen a few thrown over the balcony there!

Nah, no point in fishing bolty, when theres only the possibility of a coupla nibbles , i just think it must have been better to be 17 years old in 1966,rather than 17 years old in the seventies,eighties, or nineties, it's just an opinion. Or- maybe we all had the same acne and parental earache whatever the era
