Who's Alice? Have I just entered a parallel dimension? When I mentioned quantum physics maybe I created a self-fulfilling prophecy! :-k

My humble apologies. When it comes to TV, I am a bit of 'soap dodger'!

And I'm sure when I used to watch it, the village was called Beckendale. How and when did it become Emmerdale.

If you like a tacky night - it doesn't make you rough.

My point is, if you're going to Blackpool you should expect tackiness and drunken lads fighting all over the place.

This board is full of wannabe snobs.

INNNNNNNNNN ONE.

Blackpool is what it is, ideal for when you want a certain type of night out.

The older I get the less often I want such a night out but fcuk all wrong if that is what people fancy.

Am now concerned that for the third time in the boards history am agreeing wioth PB and that goes back to days he was Bateman.

Not a snob. I'm just not keen on some of the blokes who go drinking there. It's like they've been let off their leads and are on heat. Subtlety with the ladies can go a long way. I think the phrase I'm looking for is softly softly catchy monkey! :D

As opposed to, may I hit you with my club and drag you home by your hair! =;

That would be novel NB !

Knocked on the head and dragged home by the hair !

Where are these men ? :D

how can somebody be a wannabe snob?

He men? What are they? Apart from the Master of the Universe that is!

He men _ wannabe love toys !!

Alwaz in the mirror flexin and beautifying themselves !

Shame really :D

No, just Cavemen. He-men don't talk to 'female figured' women in their late 30's - Thank God!

Last time we went to Blackpool a couple of my mates ended up fighting with these geordies on the way to the B&B. The almost-jocks started for nowt, one of them got floored and his bird came up and started kicking off with my mate - so he floored her :D

Blackpool is a great place

I'm not dictating to everyone hating Blackpool, you're being very literal.

And no, I don't go out 'on-the pull'. In my experience, if you go out with that attitude you will all the nightmares you deserve around you. It must be a special pheremone women must give off. No, I make an effort to make myself look presentable and go out being me. If lad's don't like that, then the turn of phrase I think I'm looking for is 'whatever'! :D
