He shouldn't be blaming his own in that way though - you'd never hear Fergie calling his players stupid.

 

Yes Faye jumped up with his right arm in the air, but the ball was chucked in a couple of yards to the left of him and flicked that quickly onto his arm that there's nothing he could have done about it. For me, if he was guilty of anything, it's not getting close enough to his man, as if he would have challenged properly there's no way it would have hit his am.

I only saw it the once but I thought he was unlucky, when the ball is moved that quickly and strikes your arm there's not a lot you can do...

 

Except not stick your arms out in the first place I guess.

 

Thought Sam was a bit daft to slate him like that.

I suspect you're right, but it makes for a dull life if all we can say is "it's alright, Sam knows best" in every situation. He's very good but he aint perfect - sometimes I just feel he'll blame anything but himself for his ego - from the ref to an "immature player".

I was hoping that a ball would drop between Faye and Diop - now that would have been a tackle to watch! Both hard but fair players from what I've seen.

Sam actually called Faye childish for handling and implied Faye had handled intentionally.

at the end of the day how many times did terry handball it last year and none were given. deffinate penalty just thought he was unlucky.
