Dissapearing Mail.

What do you lot think of the Royal Mail delivery service?

Had lots of stuff not turn up recently, and some that i posted and it never reached the destination.

We had a credit card 'dissapear' on the way to us.

I sent a card to my brother and his girlfirend to say congrats when they found out they were having a baby, and it arrived 4 weeks later with the envelope torn and an apology letter ( someone rifled it for money no doubt)

I didnt recieve the birthday card my mum posted in january ( or maybe she doesnt love me really)

A letter from the Bolton Hospice didnt reach me- funnily enough with a cheque inside it.

There are others but you get my drift.

Anyone else have this prob?

Also some numbnuts company sent us a letter but forgot to put a stamp on- we get a card through the door to pick up an item for the value of ?1.24. Thinking it was it was some important documents or something i went to the sorting office to recieve a letter- paid 24p that the person who sent it should have paid- and ?1- handling fee. It was junk anyway!

Conspiracy theory...the Royal Mail produce junk mail- tell everyone to pick it up..and bingo...make an extra quid!

I agree with you Missus C, the Royal Mail are crap, on our estate all the streets begin with L so it is a lottery as to whose mail you get, sometimes it's not even the right fecking number, it's not only the RM who are shy with postage though, I've just paid ?845 to start a course at Wigan College in September, they have sent me 2 lots of documents and each time it has cost me ?1.16 to pick it up from the post office. W@nkers the lot of them

I use Royal Mail daily to post parcels from one of my side lines and they frequently lose them

Then it takes them 6 months and lots of threatening phone calls before they settle my claim

The percentage of parcels they lose is shocking, the sooner they stop taking on thieving peasants the better

sent a letter first class a week last friday with postal orders inside (which are crossed) and it still ain't arrived..

i once sent my season ticket over to bolton because could nt make a game.

the letter arrived without the ticket in there.

rang royal mail and they said nothing they could do, i told them where it was posted and they said 'a lot of letters go missing from there we do nt know why'

now you do nt need mrs marple to work out why do you ?

I worked in their accounts dept for a few months in 2005, worst job ever & they employ shifty looking asylum-seekers in their sorting offices too........not good.

Is that why I still haven't received the 'slightly soiled' dolphin skin Y-backs that you promised to post out to me?

No, that's the result of my bum conkers blocking my rusty sherriffs badge, don't worry, I drank 2 bottles of syrupy figs last night so soiling should recommence shortly

I had a parcel being sent to me from China, via ParcelForce.

Sent on the 18th May, checked that it had actually been sent through the tracking code on their website.

Doubt that will ever turn up

Cheers guys.

The reason the job is down the pan is mainly down to the scotes they now employ which arn`t even vetted anymore.

You had to sit a feckin exam when I went for a job now they go round asking the Abduls if they know anybody who wants a job!

All the old sweats have been pensioned off along with years of knowing every street in Bolton, the managers are people who have come out of college or some other job they know fook all about (Alan Leighton and Crozier at the top)no promotion amongst the ranks anymore.

Alot of junk mailing companies tried to shove through items that didn`t have the right postage as the prices went up recently and instead of getting the items sent back the t.wats charged the customers along with birthday cards/anniversary cards that one time they waivered.

Jeez lad, sounds like things have really gone down the pan. Do you have a decent wage/pension/hols scheme or is it time to get out?

Yeah I`m going to work for Postcomm.
