We're going down

The defence is sh?t

The midfield is sh?t

The manager is clueless

Our captain is a fat c?nt

We'll not get 20k on this Saturday

Anelka & Diouf are leaving

Jussi and Faye are leaving

And all this after THREE games of the season. One against BSA, one in f?cking monsoon season & another when we were poo but the ref might have well put on a Pompey top.

As for our strikers leaving - he should tell them that they signed f?cking contracts & remind them we're in Europe and still have everything to play for.

The misery is catching on, everytime I read Reebok Review I get the urge to slash my wrists <_<

As- dont rise to it lad, there is a big case for WW suicide watch!

Im not part of it, only sunshine in my wanderers life at present

if anelka nad diouf leave im sure there will be no fans at the reebok

im still hopefull that we will end up mid table

Do us a favour then ;)

Can't help it, it's got to me. 6 page threads about how sh?t we are & how LSL doesn't know his arse from his elbow.........I'm hoping the boiler malfunctions later & I get carbon monoxide poisoning when I go to bed tonight

whoops sorry about capslock

3 POINTS ON SATURDAY, AND THIS WILL BE FORGOTTEN....

whoops sorry about capslock

im afraid it wont, its turning into a circus now even leaving the 3 results out of it. players wanting out captain moaning sammy lee falling out with players and not even selecting some in 3 games. this is going to be the longest 10 days in history till that window shuts.

But we still have 9 more points than them!!

At least LSL's suit will fit him.

He should. I'll give him the Reading game to prove me wrong, it's getting a bit like England with Lampard now.

Nolan seems to be getting too big for his boots.

An example is the passback to Jussi at the game versus the Geordies when he refused to acknowledge any responsibility and continue to bark at the keeper.

I don't believe he's a good captain either.

I think Lee got it wrong playing him where he did at Pompey - He's best when he gets back to what he does well - scrapping, breaking up play, working hard and coming into the box late. I don't believe that he can do that unless he's in midfield.

So was Nolan right to speak out about it?

Well, remember last year he was quoted as saying (probably in the ridiculously inane BBC column) that he would play "anywhere" - midfield, or supporting the striker, yet when he does it under LSL, all of a sudden he's not comfortable there?!

The problem is I don't think Nolan ever appears accept responsibility for when he's not on song - if he knuckles under and gets on with it he's well worth a place in the team though.

As someone once put it (I think it was Zico), I don't know exactly what Nolan does, but we're a better team with him in it. If he gets back to form I'd agree.

Some good points there

I read Nolan's comments as meaning 'I was told one thing before the game, told another during it and at HT, then I get hauled off'

But then Nolan saying 'they played like we used to' after the Newcastle game suggests to me he hasn't given LSL and his ideas a chance either. It's one game FFS. The words alone might not look so sinister but you could tell from his body language what he was getting at - he is no fan of our new 'style'.

It all just smacks of a dressing room that doesn't believe in their manager.

I think he's more f?cked off with how sh?t he's been playing for the past season, that scouse temperament means he's always going to sulk/kick off when things don't go his way.

A few goals on Saturday would sort that out :good:

Perhaps he realises that with our new "style" there really isn't an automatic place for him in the team

...or at least Nolan doesn't, you can't necessarily extrapolate that to the rest of the team.......

....and unfortunately that is just too true, he's been subbed once and starts sucking his thumb, hardly a captain's response!

dunno

during the close season he admitted it was getting boring under the new regime, that you took things for granted and that he was optimistic about the new way of playing

maybe the players are as prone to a knee jerk reaction as the fans

Aye ... I suppose putting a few nice moves together pre-season feels good - but going 3 down after 30 minutes in your first game can quickly change your mind about things.

He may of course just be sulking because he's being played out of position / subbed after an hour.

There is this received wisdom that Nolan can't play in a 4-4-2 but I don't see how he'd be any more lightweight than Alonso looked.
