October 25, 200718 yr then what? you know who you are explain it to the hard of understanding....me if thats too difficult, you can try gartside out?......then what either one, i'm not fussed Edited October 25, 200718 yr by Casino
October 25, 200718 yr Gartside & the board are responsible for the running of the club. They're making a fist of it. Megson is unlikely to take us to the next level, they want to do everything on the cheap, they're alienating the fans (crowds small enough this season!) and people are generally disillusioned. Need to freshen things up and get a board and chairman who treat the fans with some level of decency. Gartside only in it for himself and only interested in greasing palms at the FA.

Of course they are doing it on the cheap. What do you expect with crowds of ten fecking thousand. If more people attended instead of frigging moaning, we may be able to attract a better class of manager feck me, Ive just checked the Leicester web site. Considering they apparently all wanted rid og megson, every home game this season has attracted a bigger crowd than we managed against chelsea. It is not our board that has no ambition - it is our supporters Edited October 25, 200718 yr by bwfc2003
October 25, 200718 yr Of course they are doing it on the cheap. What do you expect with crowds of ten fecking thousand. If more people attended instead of frigging moaning, we may be able to attract a better class of manager When we had a good manager, we got good crowds (relatively)
October 25, 200718 yr Author When we had a good manager, we got good crowds (relatively) relative to what not fcuking relative to the teams idiots think we should be challenging when you grow up, you'll learn what comes in has to pay for what goes out when what goes out is more than what comes in, you have a problem currently, more is going out than is coming in - scandalous tbh, but thats the way it is that is much more likely to be the fault of the owner rather than the board now i'd prefer your 'venomous' crew didn't start on the owner, but i'd argue he's at least as much to blame - if there is any blame - as the board and chairman
October 25, 200718 yr When we had a good manager, we got good crowds (relatively) Bollocks- when we had our purple patch under sam, you could still spot hundreds of empty seats at the reebok. a town the size of Bolton, with a ground as small as the Reebok, it is disgraceful it has only been full for a handfull of matches
October 25, 200718 yr One person giving it 'sack the board' outside the ground was wearing jogging bottoms. I'm not getting into a football debate with someone who can't be arsed getting dressed properly. I rest my case!
October 25, 200718 yr relative to what To what we're getting now, obviously..... although don't let that stop you arguing against something I didn't say
October 25, 200718 yr Bollocks- when we had our purple patch under sam, you could still spot hundreds of empty seats at the reebok. a town the size of Bolton, with a ground as small as the Reebok, it is disgraceful it has only been full for a handfull of matches Hence the 'relatively' in my comment Hundreds of empty seats, as opposed to 17,000 We got far better under Sam than we're getting now
October 25, 200718 yr Author How do you work that out? the next accounts will show we are losing money (yatesy will be along soon to remind me accountants can do owt with numbers ) we made balls all of nothing last year, however they dressed it up
October 25, 200718 yr Hence the 'relatively' in my comment Hundreds of empty seats, as opposed to 17,000 We got far better under Sam than we're getting now And we filled the reebok for our last eufa campaign did we??
October 25, 200718 yr the next accounts will show we are losing money (yatesy will be along soon to remind me accountants can do owt with numbers ) we made balls all of nothing last year, however they dressed it up Where's the MASSIVE increase in TV money gone though? We spent nowt in Summer
October 25, 200718 yr How do you work that out? I would think it obvious with our current attendances
October 25, 200718 yr Cant see how we are losing money after spending hardly anything on transfers and gaining the extra money from sky.
October 25, 200718 yr And we filled the reebok for our last eufa campaign did we?? You really don't get this 'relatively' thing do you? The point is we got a lot closer to filling it
October 25, 200718 yr Cant see how we are losing money after spending hardly anything on transfers and gaining the extra money from sky. well I dont think Anelka, Diuff etc are on minimum wages
October 25, 200718 yr well I dont think Anelka, Diuff etc are on minimum wages A ?20 million increase on last season?
October 25, 200718 yr Diouf will be on the same wage as last year. Anelka will be on slightly more. Wage bill will be a million or two bigger than last season.
October 25, 200718 yr Diouf will be on the same wage as last year. Anelka will be on slightly more. Wage bill will be a million or two bigger than last season. Exactly. So where's the money gone?
October 25, 200718 yr Author i THINK the tv deal is worth an extra 10 million to us and we don't get it until the end of the season
October 25, 200718 yr If thats the case, we will lose money this financial year, but not this season.
October 25, 200718 yr If thats the case, we will lose money this financial year, but not this season. the upshot is , if we want premier league football, 25000 of us have to get off our arses and get to the reebok every home game, and SUPPORT the team
October 25, 200718 yr Author If thats the case, we will lose money this financial year, but not this season. but this season, we've added numbers to the squad, a couple - at least - million a year types, season tickets down by 4 thou (another million+) add a few improved longer term deals (hunt, davies i seem to rememeber) another million to anelka no doubt jussi wants a bit more - everybody it seems, wants to give it him the rest of the anelka fee, 4 million? look, i'm not here to try to justify where it all goes, the fact is it goes it might be going to eddie davis, i really don't know but gartside can only work with what he's got Edited October 25, 200718 yr by Casino
