stave222 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 How many strikers did Blackscum have in the game today and how many did we have thay had more on the bench thane we had on the pich if we dont get a striker soon we are down are you with me or against me let me know.
itk_FACT Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 i think i'm with you. what struck me was that roberts - their 4th choice striker - was more threatening a player than anyone in our whole squad.
fruitbat69 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 The fact we were left with the option of Fojut and Nicky Hunt as the final sub at home change beggars belief. 2 defenders left when we are at home is a joke. We should have 4 strikers at the club who can step in at any time and do a job. Surely we could have put Harsanyi or that young lad we signed from Coventry or even Andranik today. The fact is we only have Davies as the only striker that can score goals.Helguson is not fit and not sure when he will be.

It may be controversial but Kevein Davies is a poor striker, he may bring many things to our team but goals aint one of em!!
HomerJay Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 It may be controversial but Kevein Davies is a poor striker, he may bring many things to our team but goals aint one of em!! and the touch of a rapist!
Bobcat Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 It may be controversial but Kevein Davies is a poor striker, he may bring many things to our team but goals aint one of em!! not controversial at all... Davies isn't a goal scorer.... Kevin Nolan is our goal scorer....
JimmyRiddle Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 Davies isn't a goal scorer.... No suppose not regarding his goals, but generally I think Davies is pretty shite to be honest, and that goes against the grain of most Wanderers fans.
bolty58 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 No suppose not regarding his goals, but generally I think Davies is pretty shite to be honest, and that goes against the grain of most Wanderers fans. Ignoring the moaning coonts in general but 'Davies is pretty shite'? Give me a fooking break.
fester58 Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 jimmy i half agree with you. davies is the heartbeat of the team at the moment,as a finisher i think he is one of the worst to ever wear a bolton shirt and that includes ian moores, trever morgan and steve elliott. if he plays as a lone striker like today he has to score more goals,if he's not capable he should be dropped and a change of formation/tactics must be called for.
HomerJay Posted January 13, 2008 Posted January 13, 2008 he needs a partner in a 442, not stelios though.
