March 5, 200818 yr I bought a new PC last week after my old one died. This runs on Vista and after it did it's regular update thing, all the writing and the icons are really small. How can I make them permanently bigger? My eyesight's not what it was!

If you are using Vista you can hold the control key down and scroll the wheel button on your mouse. If you are running XP 1. Right Click Desktop + Choose ?Properties? 2. In the Properties Window click on the ?Appearance Tab? at the top. 3. In the Appearance Window click on the button called ?Advanced? 4. Aye, done all the things mentioned on the thread, and the address bar and icons are good now, but the type on web pages is still too small. I know that I can make it bigger by using ctrl and +, but this is only a temporary fix: how do i make the change permanent?

Top right, menu that says page. Go into that, select txt size, and appropriate size. It will remember these settings.
