I think he ball watches alot! A classic example yesterday! Davies goes to tackle and Young skips past him! Davies looks to see where Stiensson is to prevent the cross! Stiensson is drawn to the middle marking jack shhit and they cross and score! Arse last week with Gallas! Stiensson's man marking again! His actual distribution is ok but his marking is shocking! Don't know about Hunt though! Possibly JOB?

completeley agree.

Maybe he is trying to do too much and cover for other players, thus getting dragged out of position?

 

One thing that Hunt does ok is keep the formation.

They've all been crap for the last few games.

Initially (eg Portsmouth) they team was organised and we conceeded few goals, but couldn't score.

Teams sussed this and now we are suffering. Midfield over-run and no protection for the defence.

All comes down to not posing enough of a goal threat.

Once we got a more solid base, Smegson should have let the team play a more attacking game- we would have lost a few but may have won a couple- possibly enough to keep us up.

 

Instead, negative, boring dross that's outdated and ineffective

Steinson - another example to me that things at Bolton are rotten from top to bottom.

 

He came with the noises of being the best right back in Holland. He started well too for us, slotting straight in...

 

...but the longer time has past as a Bolton player the worst he looks

 

 

and I will say it - the Nicky Hunt that has filled in for him in UEFA Cup matches looks a better right back.
