YATESY
Good player but would like our efforts and cash spent on a more flair player on this transfer deadline. McCann will be back soon and he has been our most consistent midfielder this season - playing a similar part to Davis. The other problem today ofcourse, is that most of the South is closed. Will it be physically possible to get players from the South up North for a medical prior to the 5pm deadline?

Will it be physically possible to get players from the South up North for a medical prior to the 5pm deadline? 1. Gatwick's open, but delays inevitable. 2. You can guarantee the FA / PL allow a deal to go through after the official cut-off time, if one of the "bigger clubs" are involved. Remember the Ashley Cole / William Gallas deal? Benjani to City? All 3 moved after the deadline had passed. So, when Arshavin's late to sign for Arsenal: it'll be fine.
Guest Biff
Hopkinson, Hartle, Higgins, Hennin ...... erm ..... and Holden (had to look up the last one - memory going). You forgot Hedwards as the PA used to announce it.
yardbones
Portsmouth have now signed the Greek midfielder, Basinas, who apparently plays in the same position as Davis. Maybe that's his replacement sorted.
forever white
It now appears tottenham want him back in exchange for Dos Santos. Would this not mean yet another Spurs reject goes back to Totenham
