McCann will be back soon and he has been our most consistent midfielder this season - playing a similar part to Davis. The other problem today ofcourse, is that most of the South is closed. Will it be physically possible to get players from the South up North for a medical prior to the 5pm deadline?

You can guarantee the FA / PL allow a deal to go through after the official cut-off time, if one of the "bigger clubs" are involved. Remember the Ashley Cole / William Gallas deal? Benjani to City? All 3 moved after the deadline had passed. So, when Arshavin's late to sign for Arsenal: it'll be fine.
