Rangers have rebuffed an approach from Bolton Wanderers for Portuguese midfielder Pedro Mendes.

 

The 29-year-old is in his first season at Ibrox, having arrived for ?3m from Portsmouth during the summer.

I'd be surprised given the financial situation up there, Rangers are financial lightweights these days.

 

Think he wants a few medals (albeit Scottish ones I know) before his time is up.

 

He would be a good aquisition for BWFC. I think I'd be strung up next time I'm in Glasgow if we nick him.

 

The uproar from the Boyd fiasco will be nothing compared to this, if Mendes leaves today.

Both Celtic & Rangers are very poor this season IMO.
