Derby County 1 Bolton Wanderers 1
I agree about pressing a team further up the pitch as it is alot easier for our defence & midfield to re-organised and be difficult to break down. Also it is alot harder for them to build attacks and cause as much problems. My point about davies earlier is that with a lack of pace upfront we have no out ball when defending, the opposition defence is never on the back foot giving them the impitous to pile men forward.

It sounded to me like we only came under increased pressure when we brought Kev Davies on, in my opinion i dont see the point in bringing davies on when we are winning. Once he comes on the opposition defence can push up as they know he will not be able to run in behind them, so that resulted in us losing possession around the half way line which puts our defence under constant pressure, and our defence isn't good enough to cope for long periods of pressure. The first half we were knocking the ball into the channels for n'gog & c davies to run into which resulted in us playing further up the pitch winning throw ins & corners. This also relieves pressure on our defence. The decision to replace n'gog for davies changed the game last night in my opinion, if n'gog was tired then sordell would have been the ideal change as we could continue playing further up the pitch with pace to peg derby back.

Wanderers 0 Leicester 0
N'gog definitely needs to come in for KD against blackpool, we look a more attacking threat with a mobile striker who isnt afraid to have a shot on target. I can't remember davies having an attempt on target, nevermind looking like scoring in the last two games. It looks like DF is going to stick with the 4231 formation but i dont think it works with KD. Our play is limited with him in the side & it is easy for the opposition to defend against. To get promoted or even make the play offs in this division you need strikers who can get 15-20 goals and davies wont get 10. We need the lone striker to be running the channels and dragging the centre halfs all over which will create space for our midfielders to get forward more.

Wanderers 2 Derby 0
The first half was shocking, i think the people booing were just annoyed that we just hoofed the ball for 45 mins without even trying to vary our play. coyle keeps talking about the great midfielders we have got but playing that type of football and to just 1 mans strength (KD) then were are completely taking out the strengths of our midfielders who i believe if we tried to pass the ball more would rip teams apart. i know we cant always get the ball down and play and sometimes a lump forward if we are under pressure at the back is needed but that first half last night we didn't even attempt to pass the ball. The second half was better and hopefully we can take some confidence from the second half performance into the forest game on friday.

Matt Clarke - This guy didn't play in the prem for us but played a massive part in getting us promoted when we were in the shite for goalkeepers. I can still remember that save in the play-off final from healy which was top drawer.

Collymore, What A Goon
What a complete cock Stan Collymore is, i bet he didn't have the same views when he was playing for Bradford & Leicester in the Premier League who incidently wouldn't be in his ideal premier league quite happily taking 40 grand a week,no he would be languishing in the lower leagues playing for an apparantly "smaller club" earning hardly fuck all because all the tv revenue would be in the premier league, somewhere he would be nowere near. What a clueless hypocrite twat he really is.

Tope Obadeyi Goes Out On Loan
I am quite worried about our lack of strikers at the moment, i would have thought obadeyi would have been on the bench tomorrow seeing as our main 2 strikers are on the pitch. Now with obadeyi gone we have no cover whatsoever and i am just praying that nothing happens to davies or elmander because then we will be in the shit. Riga is not suitable cover upfront especcially with the type of football we play. I am not saying that obadeyi is suitable cover, but seeing as we have no other options at all at the moment we need someone who can provide some sort of cover for injuries & suspensions which at this point in time we have not got. Megson must take some sort of blame for this as he is the one who is in charge of providing a suitable squad for premier league football. Megson has had all summer to get a striker & a creative midfielder in, not just the last few weeks and still we are no nearer to filling these positions which we really need especcially as we failed to score in 18 of our 38 games last season. I have my fingers crossed the he can get some cover in before the end of the transfer window.
